The Great African Foundation’s “Green Paradise” Project Takes Root in Arusha City

Arusha City, April 26, 2023 – With esteemed guest of honor, Arusha City Mayor Hon. Maximillian Matttle Iranqe in attendance, the foundation launched its ambitious “Green Paradise” project in the heart of Arusha City.

The “Green Paradise” project is a visionary initiative aimed at creating a vibrant and sustainable recreation site for the community. This project aligns with The Great African Foundation’s core mission of empowering youth, promoting environmental sustainability, and fostering community development.

To mark the launch of this transformative project, The Great African Foundation organized a tree planting event in Kalolei ward, where a total of 800 trees were planted. This initiative not only underscores our commitment to environmental stewardship but also symbolizes the growth and vitality that the “Green Paradise” project aims to bring to Arusha City.

The tree planting event was attended by 50 enthusiastic and dedicated youth, all of whom are members of The Great African Foundation. Their participation reflects the unwavering dedication of African youth to creating a brighter, greener future for their communities.

Mayor Hon. Maximillian Matttle Iranqe expressed his wholehearted support for the “Green Paradise” project during his speech at the launch event. He commended The Great African Foundation for its vision and proactive approach to addressing community needs, stating, “Projects like ‘Green Paradise’ demonstrate the potential of young leaders to drive positive change in our city and continent. I am proud to be part of this initiative, and I pledge the city’s support to ensure its success.”
