Who We are
Established on June 16, 2020, The Great African Foundation is a youth-led movement dedicated to reclaiming Africa’s future by transforming the mindsets of its greatest resource: its people. We believe that while Africa is the wealthiest continent on Earth, a systemic lack of opportunity has sidelined the brilliant minds capable of leading it; therefore, our mission is to empower Africans.

By shifting perspectives from limitation to leadership and immersing our youth in the physical and social development of their communities, we are uniting the continent with a singular voice to build a prosperous, self-reliant Africa for generations to come.
HOW WE WORK
Mindset Deconstruction: We challenge and rebuild the internal narratives of African youth, replacing a culture of limitation with a “growth and purpose” mindset.
Strategic Mentorship: We provide expert guidance to help individuals identify how their unique talents can meet specific needs within the African market and society.
Community Field Work: We bridge the gap between theory and reality by placing youth in the field to lead and execute projects that physically and socially improve their local environments.
Policy Advocacy for Mindset Building: We champion the institutionalization of mindset transformation by pushing for national policies and educational reforms that prioritize discovery as a core requirement for African economic development.
